Obituary for Kenneth Edward Inman

Kenneth Edward Inman, 80, of Lenexa, KS formerly of Kansas City, KS passed away Sat. Sept. 22, 2012 at Shawnee Gardens Nursing Center in Shawnee, KS. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Wed., Sept. 26, at the Edwardsville Christian Church with burial to follow in Edwardsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the visitation from 10 to 11 am, Wed. morning, Sept. 26 at the church prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to either the Parkinson’s Foundation, Edwardsville Christian Church or the Great Plains S.P.C.A. in care of the Alden – Harrington Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born on Oct. 27, 1931 in Centerville, Iowa and grew up farming with his parents and six brothers in Seymore, IA. After graduating High School in 1950 he spent a short time working construction in Rock Island, Ill. Before moving to Kansas City in 1953 to work for Fairbanks – Morris. He worked for most of his life for West- Vaco Corp. retiring after 31 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Wanda Jo Inman of the home and 2 Daughters Tammy Bluhm (Michael) of Shawnee, KS and Kim Potter (James) of Olathe, KS. One Brother Donald Inman of Bonner Springs, KS and 4 Grandchildren Jacob, Madison, Jordan and Mariah.
