“Bea” Davena Novich, 93, of Kansas City, KS passed away in her sleep
at her home on Sunday, May 26, 2013 where she had lived for the last 65 years.
Her Funeral prayer service will be at 11 am, Sat., June 1, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with a private prayer service committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum in Kansas City, KS. The family will receive friends at the visitation from 9 to 11 am, Sat. morning, June 1, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1995
and her mother, Louetta Magee, in 1969. And is survived by five children,
Louis Novich and Terry, Mobridge, SD. Frank Novich and Arlene, Ash
Flat, AR., Sharon Wilson and Fred, Kansas City, KS, Dale Novich
and Carol, Kansas City, KS and Cindy Burns and Carter, Kansas
City, KS. Also surviving 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren,
and 11 great great grandchildren.
Granny was known as someone who always had room for
another person at her table. She was available with advice and
a friendly ear for friends and family. Card and game playing
was a constant activity at her home. Her love and guidance will
be missed.
