TIMOTHY J. JOHNSTON
Timothy J. Johnston, 55, of Mission, KS passed away Tue. May 27, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Sat., May 31, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS, private family committal to follow at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Johnson County Developmental Services in care of the funeral home.
Tim was born on June 27, 1958 in Topeka, KS. He was a lifelong Mission area resident and had worked at the Mission Hy-Vee for the last 20 years. He always loved to travel especially with his family. He is survived by his mother Evelyn Key-Dorman of Kansas City, KS and his father Johnnie P. Johnston of Wichita, KS. Two sisters Terry Smith and her husband David of Tonganoxie, KS; Joni Johnston-Velaer and her husband Wayne of Shawnee, KS. Two Brothers David Johnston of Lawrence, KS and Curtis Dorman of Olathe, KS. 2 nieces Jennifer Smith and Sonya Smith, 1 nephew Clint M. Smith, 2 great-nieces Mallorie Knight-Zuel and McKensie Knight and 3 great nephews Mitchell Knight, Landon Yeager and Lane Stimach. An aunt Judy Reynolds and cousins Barbara Cargyle and Clarisa Reynolds.
