Condolences

Condolence From: Belinda Kendall
Condolence: What an honor to have shared some of life with such an adventurous, bold and faithful woman of God! Billie Allen as I knew her for the last 33 years always encouraged and inspired me to stand for God and reach out to those who did not yet know! She was eager to be obedient to Jesus command to GO and make disciples and delighted to SEND others out to impact the world with Jesus' love!

What a joy to spend some time recently at her bedside reliving some of the times we shared in ministry and partnership as she served as Pastor Gary Kendall's first secretary and as the President o the Women of the Church of God at the First Church of God now New Life Family Church! As we read from her favorite book, the Bible, passages she could have recited had she had more breathe, God's presence was palatable as we knew we were experiencing a THE TRUTH of every word we read! Gary sang and I accompanied with a joyful noise the songs that Billie had requested to be included in her Life Celebration Service! At times we could not even get the words out to When We All Get to Heaven, knowing that was soon to be Billie's reality! At one point Billie pointed skyward and with as much breath as she could muster proclaimed, "To God Be the Glory!"

We don't say "goodbye" but "see you" to a woman who taught us much, lived well, loved well and was well loved!

Condolence: We were saddend by the death of our dear friend Billie, but rejoice in the fact that she is in the presence of her Lord & Savior whom she loved so much. Our sympathy goes out to her children and grandchildren and families. She was an inspiration to me as I served the Women of the Church of God as the local President at Kansas City Ks, First Church of God/ New Life. Her footseps were hard to follow as I served the WCG. We shall miss her so very much. RIP dear friend.
