RILEY B. “R.B.” JONES
Riley B. Jones, age 85, of Shawnee, KS passed away on Wed., Dec. 24, 2014 surrounded by his loving children. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:30 AM, Mon., Dec. 29, at the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens Cemetery in Shawnee, KS. Friends may call at the visitation from 10 to 11 AM, Monday, prior to the service at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Mr. Jones was born Feb. 5, 1929 in Parkville, MO. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Martha, his parents Jesse and Edna Jones, his brother Wayne Jones and his granddaughter Kimberley Wallace. He is survived by a son Richard Jones (Sharon) of Lenexa, three daughters Janet Wilson (John) of Basehor, Sharon Plum (Mike) of Sabetha and Violet Wallace of Shawnee. He is also survived by two sisters Jenny Justice of Tonganoxie and Cleo Cline (Jim) of Weston, MO, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family suggests Memorial Contributions to the Kansas City Hospice in care of the funeral home.
