DARYL R. EDMONDSON
Daryl Raymond Edmondson, age 74, of Tonganoxie, KS passed away Wed., Jan. 28, 2015 at his home. Memorial services will be at 7 pm, Mon., Feb. 2, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Friends may call at the visitation from 5 to 7 pm, Mon. evening, Feb. 2, prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Edmondson was born May 28, 1940 in St. Louis, MO. He was a longtime resident of the Kansas City, KS area and had moved to Tonganoxie, KS in 2007. Daryl had worked for Proctor and Gamble in Kansas City, KS for 25 years before becoming a Heavy Equipment Operator for Rieke Construction Co. in Shawnee, KS where he enjoyed working for many years retiring in 1998. He was an avid dog lover and had three small lap dogs that he loved and will miss him. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Glenn Edmondson in 2010. And is survived by three children Gary D. Edmondson of Kingsville, MO; Gayln Peden also of Kingsville, MO and Jennifer Williams (Kenneth) of Lenexa, KS. 5 grandchildren Jessica, Lindsay, Amanda, Leo and Ruben. And 6 great grandchildren Emily, Hunter, Maddox, Zoe, Gracie and Cody.
