Fredrich Eugene “Gene” King, age 89, of Mission, KS passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at his home. Graveside Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm, Sat., May 21, at the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Sat., May 21, prior to the service at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Gene was born on July 30, 1926 in Marshfield, MO and has been a longtime Kansas City area resident. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Clara King of the home. Five children Steven King of Raytown, MO; Vicki Harbarger of Mission, KS; Gary King (Christine) of Gainesville, TX; Penny Mingus (Randy) of Olathe, KS and Michael King of the home. One sister Opal Cardwell of Warsaw, MO; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren as well as many other family and friends including Pandi that will all miss him greatly.
