Peggy Jo Jones, 68, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away Thur. June 9, 2016 at her home. Visitation will be from 10 to 11am and Funeral 11am, Thur., June 16 at the Linwood Baptist Church in Linwood, KS with burial in Mt Sidney Cemetery near Linwood. Peggy was born July 6, 1947 in Lawrence, KS and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Bonner Springs High School and then went into Nurses training. She worked for many years at Providence Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist. She enjoyed being a member of several “Red Hat” societies. She had also been a longtime member of the Linwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Melvin D. Zimmerli in 2014 and is survived by 3 children Brandon Jones of Bonner Springs, KS; Kimberlee Jones of North Kansas City, MO and Brandee Ortiz (Isaac) of Belton, MO. Her mother Goldie Zimmerli of Bonner Springs, KS and 3 grandchildren Tearynn, Ashkyia and Isaiah.
