Obituary for James Keith Crosby

James Keith Crosby, age 31 of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016. Visitation from 2 to 3 p.m., Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m., Sat., Sept. 24, both at the Walnut Grove Bible Church, 16766 Cantrell Rd. Bonner Springs, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions for his daughter, Journey Crosby in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home 214 Oak St. Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
James was born on March 18, 1985 in Shawnee, KS. He attended Bonner Springs and DeSoto Schools and was a lifelong area resident. He worked a variety of labor jobs, but his favorite occupation was machinery operator and underground utilities. He was passionate about music, laughter, family and friends. James had a gift for being a mechanic, mostly out of necessity. In his eyes, his greatest accomplishment was his daughter Journey. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Foster and Rachel Crosby of Ft. Scott, KS.; his maternal Great-Grandparents Walter and Aubrey McCord of Kansas City, KS.; and Paul and June Rehm of Bonner Springs, KS. Survivors include his father, James F. Crosby of Tonganoxie, KS., mother Debra (Rehm) Crosby of Bonner Springs, KS., sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Carl Braswell of Absarokee, MT, his daughter Journey Kwynn Crosby of Bonner Springs; aunts and uncles, Michale Rehm, David and Karen Rehm, Jeff and Becky Barger, Randy Goble, all of Bonner Springs; three nieces, Brooke, Rachel and Summer of Montana; and 10 cousins all of whom loved him dearly.
