Obituary for Luella Mae Margaret Fuhr

Luella Mae Margaret Fuhr, age 85, of Harrisonville, MO. passed away on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017. Visitation 9-11am, Funeral 11am both Wed. Feb. 1st at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, burial to follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kansas City, KS. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Lupus Foundation and mailed to the funeral home.

Luella was born on Sept. 12, 1931 in Austin, MN. She lived in Kansas City, KS where she raised her children and recently had moved to Harrisonville, MO. Luella was a member of the Edwardsville Mule Riders Association. She was a very strong willed women who was always, caring and helpful, to her family and friends. Luella loved to fish, cowboys and country music, and in her later years, she enjoyed “people watching”. She was preceded in death by two children, Robert Sellers, Pamela King, one granddaughter Brandi King, siblings; Kenneth, Paul, Wayne, Delores and Margaret. She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion Paul Hurt.

Survivors include her seven children; Gloria Allred (Floyd) of Kansas City, KS., Janice Brazeal (Steve) of Latour, MO., Roy Fuhr (Terry) of Perry, KS., Debbie Hurtie of Harrisonville, MO., Linda Amaro of Kansas City, KS., Cathy Harris of Olathe, KS., Jim Fuhr (Julie) of Colorado, Siblings; Marcella, Eugene, Gerald, Leroy and Linda. 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
