Jimmie E. Johnson, 80, of K.C., KS died on Mon., March 6, 2017 at K.U. Medical Center. Visitation Noon to 1 pm, and Memorial service at 1 pm, Sat., March 11 both at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Jimmie was born on March 4, 1937 in Clinton, MO. He was a Machinist / Mechanic at Federal Moguel for over 25 years, and was married to Erma Peek Johnson (The Boss) for almost 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Jessie Johnson, Brothers Don and Charles Johnson and one grandson Scott Blake. He is survived by his wife Erma, sister Louise Carlton and her husband John, brothers Toby Johnson and his wife Minnie and Junior Johnson. His children Brenda Benson and her husband Bill, Diane Snyder and her husband Galen and Randy Johnson and his wife Jeanie. Five grandchildren April, Bill, Melissa, Jeremy and Fred. Fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
