Obituary for Shannon Lee Lofton

Shannon Lee Lofton
Shannon Lofton, of Bonner Springs, Kansas, a beloved Father, Son, Brother, and Friend, died unexpectedly on March 21st 2017, in Kansas City, Kansas, at 39 years old.
Shannon is survived by his parents, Patricia Ann and William LeRoy Lofton; two beautiful children, Triston Whalen, 14, and Lillian Nicole Lofton,12; siblings, Sheila Lynn Ensign, Jeffery Scott, William Jason, Joshua Aaron, and Meagan Miranda Lofton, Mackenzie Leigh Brady, and Zoe Makena Lynn Lofton, as well as by six nieces and six nephews.
Born to parents, 'Patty' and 'Roy', on January 13th, 1978, Shannon was the 4th of what would eventually become 8 Lofton children. He was a happy child for whom everything from arithmetic to playing Evel Knievel with his ornery brothers seemed to come with natural ease.
Shannon spent much of his life working as a skilled carpenter, a career that seems to have only encouraged him, and those same ornery brothers, to continue playing Daredevil even into adulthood.
His favorite job, however, was not carpentry, but rather, being a father. He was an extraordinarily proud Dad to Triston (whom he lovingly referred to as 'T') and Lillian ('Lil') Lofton. They meant more to him then they will ever be able to imagine.
Shannon was a great friend to so many and touched so many lives in the short time he was given. He will be missed and always, above all else, be LOVED.
Until we see you again... Goodbye, "My Shannon"
