Barbara R. Orrick, age 81, of Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. Funeral Services will be 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 10th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6-8pm prior to the service also at the funeral home.

Barbara was born on October 13, 1935 in Leavenworth, Kansas. She married Dannie Orrick on July 28, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas and together they raised their four children and enjoyed 64 years of marriage. Barbara was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed Reading, Sewing, Crocheting and watching her beloved Kansas City Royals. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis & Lucy Klasinski, son James Orrick, four siblings; Frances Wells, Betty Dennis, Richard and Edward Klasinski and her husband Dannie Orrick. Survivors include her three children; Daniel Orrick and his wife Linda, Barbara Carter and her husband Alan, and Jacquelyn Orrick. One sister Margaret Driskell, seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
