Obituary for Gus Girardi

Gus  Girardi
Gus Girardi, age 46, of Bonner Springs, KS., passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 1-3pm with Memorial Service following at 3pm, both Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial at a later date in the Bonner Springs Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Gus was born on April 5, 1971 in Kansas City, Missouri. He and his brother Jerome, grew up in the Bonner Springs area. Gus attended William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO. and Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO. He was the Owner/Operator of Tymax Construction and had been a General Contractor for over 26 years.

Gus was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Gus Girard, Sr. and a cousin, that was like a brother, Drew Bicknell.

Survivors include his wife; Tiffany Girardi and his three step-children, Victoria Wilkinson, Preston and Rhett Cantrell of Richmond, VA. His mother Debbie Bicknell Hestand and husband Billy of Shawnee, KS., two brothers; Jerome Girardi of Edwardsville, KS and Nicholas Girard of Independence, MO., one sister; Angela Girard of North Kansas City, MO., one nephew; Logan Girardi of Lee’s Summit, MO., as well as several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family and friends.
