Veldean “Val” Feil, age 79, of Salina, KS passed away Wed., May 31, 2017 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family in Bonner Springs, KS. Visitation Noon to 1 pm, and Funeral at 1 pm, both on Fri., June 2, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church 255 S. 7th St. Salina, KS 67401 with burial to follow in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the church. Val was born Sept. 13, 1937 in Ellsworth, KS. She moved to Salina in 1958 from Dorrance. She married Don Feil in 1960 in Wilson, KS. Most of her working career she worked with Dr. Tom and Dr. Pete at Brungardt Optometrists. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salina. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Feil in 1999. She is survived by two daughters Tammy Dooley (Joe) of Bonner Springs, KS and Kim Witters (Mark) of Lenexa, KS. One sister Sharon Sprinkle (Ken) of Hutchinson, KS. Five grandchildren Joseph, Nathan, Travis, Zachary and Alayna, and her beloved dog “Bo”.
