Sandra Diane Salb-Waite, 62 of Kansas City, KS passed away on Sat., June 17, 2017. Visitation from 10 to 11 am, and Memorial Service at 11 am, on Sat., July 1 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Burial to follow at a later date in the Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Sandra was born on May 9, 1955 in Kansas City, KS. Currently she enjoyed working with animals at Pete and Mac’s Pet Resort and had a long history of working at several area agencies, in collections as a Debt Collector. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had volunteered there in many different areas. Sandra was preceded in death by her father Otis Umbenhower and a brother Gerald Umbenhower. Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Jim Waite, her mother Pauline Umbenhower of Bonner Springs, KS. Her children; Melissa Butler (Gerald) of Manhattan, KS., Gerald Salb (Donna) of Basehor, KS., Stephanie Galicia (Pedro) of Topeka, KS., Brian Salb (Jennifer). Step-children; Anna Mae Milton (Troy Carr ) of Lake Lafayette, MO., Jimmy Waite (Maria) of Blue Springs, MO., Steven Waite of Tonganoxie, KS., two sisters; Sally Clark, Shirley Jenkins and one brother David Umbenhower. Her grandchildren; Brianna, Brenna, Jordan, Jayden, Jace, Sondra, Amalia, Serena, Cara, Joy, Timothy, Matthew, Jessica, Jonathan, Justin, Jarred, Madison, Kevin, Austin, Izac and Avery. As well as three great-granddaughters.
