Shirley Louise (Sweet) Dyer, age 69, of Kansas City, KS. passed away on June 14th, 2017 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Graveside Committal Service will be 11:00am Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at the Saint John Catholic Cemetery, 8900 Pflumm Rd. Lenexa, KS.
Shirley was born on October 18, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas. she was a 1965 graduate of DeSoto High School. Shirley had worked as a Nurse and later worked as a Answering Service Call Center. She had been a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Bonner Springs. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gerald Sweet. Survivors include her son Homer L. Dyer, IV, and two brothers Johnny and Harold Sweet.
