Condolences

Condolence From: Chris and Marilyn Anderson
Condolence: Please accept our sympathy for your loss. We regret that we were unable to visit with you personally since we were away on a long-planned trip. As you know, Liz was our teaching colleague for many years. When her 4th grade students eventually arrived in our high school classes, they gave her unanimous praise. We know that Liz was proud of her family. She often told us of your accomplishments and was grateful for your help and concern for her. Liz was also our friend. We enjoyed her company and admired her intelligence, her wit, and her determination. We will miss her. Again, our condolences to you. May you find comfort in the good memories.

Condolence: I can't even begin without knowing where to end. I'd greet you with an ornery smile every day that let you know I had something up my sleeve to play battle of the wits!!! Our favorite daily game! I'd do my nightly research on the topic you gave me the night before and the game was on, no holds barred. Just the way I or should I say we liked it. You challenged me and I loved every dirty minute of it! No topic too big or too small and they were so diverse, not your typical classroom boredom but fun and interesting and far out, not the typical Mrs. Wiley everyone else knew. You were so special to me. Beneath that curly little hair and polyester pants was a spunky little lady not everybody else had the pleasure to know. Thank you for making this little fat girl feel special and thank you for being my Unicorn. I love you and you better be ready and you better be paying attention, because when I get up there.... IT'S GAME ON!!!! I love you!

Condolence: What a lady! Her life deserves to be celebrated. She touched so many lives in such a positive manner. She was always so honest, so caring, so ethical, professional, and trustworthy! You wanted to make the "right" choice when you were around her. Her expectations were unwavering. She was definitely a role model for me. I so enjoyed working with her. She will be missed but what a legacy!

Condolence: Mrs. Wiley was one of my favorite teachers. My favorite memory of her is when she would put a Scratch and Sniff sticker on your spelling test if you got an A+. That was huge motivation to a 4th grader at the time. She was a very special lady.
