MARIAN B. SCHUBERT
Marian B. Schubert, 92, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Wed., Nov. 15, 2017 at the Hillside Village Nursing Home in DeSoto, KS The family will receive friends at the visitation from 6 to 8 pm, Mon., Nov. 20 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS and the Funeral will be at 1 pm, Tue., Nov. 21 at the Edwardsville Christian Church in Edwardsville, KS with burial to follow in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Midwest Hemophilia Assoc. POB 412866 Leawood, KS 66206. Marian was born March 25, 1925 in Kansas City, KS and was a life long area resident graduating to from Edwardsville High School in 1943. She married her husband of 65 years Lloyd Schubert in 1945, and together they raised there family on the family farm. She was a lifetime menber of the Edwardsville Christian Church where she played the organ for many years. She was previously a member of Farm Bureau, the Glenwood 4-H where she was a leader, the Glenwood Home Demonstration Unit and at one time she enjoyed playing softball and bowling on the Women's Bowling League. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd in 2015 and a son Dennis Schubert in 2016. She is survived by two sons Rodney Schubert (Jane) of Basehor, KS and Llorian "Porge" Schubert of Basehor, KS. One daughter-in-law Vicki Schubert of Shawnee, KS. One sister Ola Howerton of Edwardsville, KS and one sister-in-law Francis Jeannin of Tonganoxie, KS. Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
