Obituary for Randall Peter Eischens

Randy Eischens, passed in peace, while surrounded by his family on Nov. 21, 2017 at this home in Bonner Springs, KS at the age of 61.

Memorial Mass Service will be 11am Sat. Nov. 25th at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor, KS. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass also at the church.

*In lieu of flowers, and because of the holiday, the family strongly suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Randy was born on March 19, 1956 in Canby, Minnesota. He founded and operated R.J. Midwest & Coin of Kansas City for 27 years and had worked at the Internal Revenue Service in Kansas City, MO. for over 20 years. Randy was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend to all. He lived his life selflessly, always seeking to help others. His love for nature was strong , as he greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing and feeding deer in his backyard. Randy also enjoyed traveling to Minnesota, spending time with family and playing cards. He was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.

Randy was preceded in death by one brother; Al Eischens.

Survivors include; his wife of 23 years, Jenny Eischens, daughter Kelly (Joe) Stamps of Kansas City, MO., step son Michael (Jenn) Larson of Waukee, IA., step daughter Michelle (Jason) Merhar- Welch of Urbandale, IA., his parents; Bert & Theresa Eischens of Granite Falls, MN., siblings; twin brother Ron (Lisa) Eischens of Sparta, MN., Dave (Carrie) Eischens of Granite Falls, MN., Lori (Jim) Ruether of Montevideo, MN., Kathy Dodd of Brookings, SD., Kari Lang of Basehor, KS., twelve grandchildren., as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
