Ralph James “Jim” Bille, age 56, of Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away on Wednesday Dec. 6th, 2017 at his home. A Memorial Gathering will be from 2-4pm Sunday, Dec. 17th, at the Harrington Family Event Center, 218 Oak St. Bonner Springs, KS. (Next to the Funeral Home)

Jim was born on March 6, 1961 in Laramie, Wyoming. Around 1969 his family moved to Topeka, KS. where in 1979 he graduated Seaman High School and Kaw Area Vo-Tech with a certification in welding. Before graduation he began work at Allis Chalmers where he stayed until the plant closed in 1985. He moved to the Kansas City metro area and worked at National By-Products for 15 years and then at various manufacturing facilities that included Container Packaging, Vertis, Staples and Sara Lee, as an industrial maintenance mechanic and welder until he fell ill in 2013.

Jim met the love of his life in 1981 and they were married June 14, 1986. After the birth of their first son in 1990, they moved to Bonner Springs, KS and one year later their second son was born.

Jim enjoyed bowling, fishing and hanging out with his friends, but his main passion was his 1977 Harley Davidson Lowrider that he and his wife rode together for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Ralph Bille and Winifred (Trout) Osborn. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Barbara Bille of the home, two sons; Michael Bille of Bonner Springs and Matthew Bille of the home. His step-mother, Diana Bille, one sister, Kathy Schwahn (Dave) and many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to Bonner Animal Rescue in care of the funeral home.
