Kenneth R. "Rick" Rogers, age 65, of Edwardsville, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, December 16th, 2017. A Celebration of Rick’s life will be from 11am to 2pm Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at the Harrington family Event Center.

Rick was born on August 2, 1952 in Maryville, Missouri. He was a machine operator at Spangler Printers in Kansas City, Kansas for over 20 years. Some of Rick’s favorite things included Astrometry, Trains and Model Trains, Camaro’s, John Wayne and Chocolate. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dean Rogers. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Velma Rogers of the home, three children; Amenah Tichenor of De Soto, KS., Samanthah Rogers of De Soto, KS., Julia Rogers of Kansas City, KS., two step children; Donald Rogers and Kate Neslage, his mother; Blanch Allene Sweeney of Maryville, MO., one brother; Randy (Linda) Rogers of Neosho, MO., and nine grandchildren; Brianna, Azriel, Mikaela, Kenneth, Daniel, Theodore, Laura, Connor and Kason.
