JAMES E. TAYLOR
James Eugene Taylor, 63 of Sunrise Beach, MO formerly of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Sat., Dec. 23, 2017 at his home. The family will recieve friends at the visitation from 2 to 3 pm, and Memorial Services will be at 3 pm, on Sun., Jan. 7, 2018 at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kansas City Ballet in care of the funeral home. James was born on Feb. 25, 1954 in Kansas City, KS and was a longtime area resident. He became an Eagle Scout and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1972, he later attended the University of Kansas. And Married Colleen Gray on May 1, 1976. He owned the Collar Co. in Kansas City, KS for several years and also worked for Clay and Bailey Steel Manufacturing and Taylor and Holcomb, C.P.A. For the last forty years he enjoyed working as a Stage Hand for I.A.T.S.E. Local 31, and for the last 25 years especially loved working with the Kansas City Ballet. James was preceded in death by his parents; John Taylor in 1990 and Mary Frances Taylor in 1997 and one brother John Taylor in 2015. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Colleen Taylor of the home. Two children Michael Taylor of Kansas City, KS and Jennifer Nowak (Brian) of Overland Park, KS. And two grandchildren Caleb and Kendall.
