I was saddened to learn of Ruth's passing, but it was so good to know that she lived such a long, fulfillong life. She was profoundly influential in my life with her high expectations,always coupled with warm encouragement. I also became a professional jounalist, then taught secondary English for 30 yrs. I can tell you that her methods were effective & far ahead of her time!😊 Her family can be so proud, and I know her students will honor her memory.
