Camille O. Lynn, age 100, of Crystal, MN. died peacefully Jan. 16, 2018, surrounded by family. Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Monticello United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30am, followed by memorial service at 10:30. Her burial will follow in the Old Monticello Cemetery. Camille Odette Katherman was born on August 21, 1917 in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Ralph Lynn on August 9, 1942 in Bonner Springs, KS. Camille was a school teacher for 28 years, teaching in the Elementary and Junior High School in the De Soto District. Her hobbies included gardening, planting flowers, canning vegetables and making homemade jellies. She was an active member of the Monticello United Methodist Church until she moved to Minnesota at the age of 88 to be closer to her family. While in Minnesota she was editor of a newsletter at the Earle Brown Terrace Assisted Living Center where she resided. Camille was preceded in death by her parents Alva and Elsie (Cox) Katherman, her husband Ralph Lynn, siblings Arzillah (George) Wray, Jean (Jack) King, Delbert (Nellie) Katherman, Ernest (Doris) Katherman, daughter-in-law Priss and a grandson Dennis. Survivors include her two sons; Richard Lynn and Darrel (Sharon) Lynn, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, family prefers memorials to the Monticello United Methodist Church.
