Gale Aleen Umbenhower, 54, of Linwood, KS died Friday, March 15, 2013 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Funeral 7 pm, Thur., Mar. 21st at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS burial to follow at a later date in Edwardsville Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 pm, Thur. evening, Mar. 21 at the funeral home prior to the service. Gale is preceded in death by her father Willard Spencer in 1984 and is survived by her husband David Scott Umbenhower of the home, 3 children Christopher Spencer, Paula Umbenhower and David Umbenhower. 6 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters. Her mother Florance Spencer of Bonner Springs, KS and 3 brothers Howard Spencer of Bonner Springs, KS, Glenn Spencer of Carlisle, PA and Allen Spencer of Issaquah, WA as well as a host of other family and friends that will miss her greatly.
