I was shocked and saddened to learn of Ernie's passing yesterday. I was able to meet Ernie through work. He at Coca-Cola, and I at Sentry Equipment, a conveyor and equipment supplier. In the very short time that I had gotten to know him, I found him to be a very wise, savvy, and friendly individual. He so loved his family and farm, because he talked about them often.
