I was sorry to hear of Ken's passing. They were our next door neighbors for several years when we first came to Bonner. I was an employee of the school district as well so that made him my head boss. This was in the days when a pregnancy was kept quite until the need to acknowledge it in public. However our then six year old son when through the neighborhood telling everyone his mom was having a baby. So much for not telling the school district. The cat was out of the bag. Ken and my husband were good friends and Sandy soon worked for the school district as a custodian. Ken was highly thought of in the district and town. He was a fair boss, treating everyone with respect and friendliness. I appreciated his leadership all the years I worked under him and I know Sandy did as well. We have many fond memories of him. Sandy is gone as well but I offer my condolences to his family.
